Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the frothy yeast mixture, cooled brewed coffee, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough begins to form.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the filling by combining brown sugar, cinnamon, softened butter, and instant coffee granules in a bowl until well mixed.
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release air. Roll it out into a large rectangle (about 16x12 inches) on a floured surface.
  7. Spread the coffee cinnamon filling evenly over the dough rectangle, leaving a small border around the edges. Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  8. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and arrange them in a greased baking pan.
  9. Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise again for about 30-45 minutes until puffy.
  10. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  11. While the rolls are baking, prepare the creamy icing by whisking together powdered sugar, brewed coffee, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
  12. Once baked, let the rolls cool slightly. Drizzle the creamy icing over the warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
