Delight your guests with rich, luxurious chocolate treats. Consider chocolate-covered strawberries decorated with graduation caps made from chocolate squares and miniature candy.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound fresh strawberries
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 package chocolate squares (about 12 pieces)
12 miniature chocolate candies (like Reese’s Cups or similar)
12 small squares of cardstock or paper (for the tassel)
Instructions
Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly, ensuring they are free of moisture for optimal chocolate adherence.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and creamy.
Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering it completely, and then place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
For the graduation caps, place a chocolate square on top of each miniature candy, securing it with a small dab of melted chocolate. Let them cool until set.
Once the chocolate caps are firm, attach a small square of paper as a tassel using a bit of melted chocolate.
Serve chilled on a colorful dessert table for an elegant presentation.
