A delicious and hassle-free dinner that combines tender chicken, cheesy tortellini, and a creamy homemade Alfredo sauce.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound refrigerated cheese tortellini
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the refrigerated cheese tortellini, shredded chicken, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
Pour the marinara sauce over the tortellini mixture, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce, followed by the breadcrumbs on top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
