Ingredients
Scale:
2 pounds chicken wings, preferably fresh or thawed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or set your air fryer to the same temperature.
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
If using the oven, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. If using an air fryer, cook for 25-30 minutes.
While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic parmesan coating. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes.
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic parmesan mixture over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
